Compare BridgeWell to clinic-based weight-loss programs
Clinic-based programs can be a strong fit for people who want weekly in-person visits. BridgeWell is built for people who want medical review, medication access when appropriate, and long-term lifestyle support from home.
A general comparison of two care models
Every clinic is different. The table below is a general comparison of clinic-based programs and BridgeWell as care models — it is not a claim about any specific clinic, provider, or location. Use it to think about which approach fits how you want to receive care.

When a clinic might be the better fit
We would rather you choose the care that suits you than sign up for the wrong one. A local, clinic-based program may be the better choice when:
- You want regular, in-person visits and a hands-on, face-to-face relationship with a local team.
- You prefer on-site weigh-ins, body measurements, or in-office lab draws as part of your routine.
- You value a physical location you can walk into for questions or check-ins.
- You have a medical situation that you and your clinician feel is best managed in person.
If that describes you, an in-person program could serve you well. There is no wrong door here — only the one that fits your life.
When BridgeWell is the better fit
BridgeWell is designed for people who want medical guidance and lifestyle support without building their week around a clinic visit. It may be the better fit when:
- You want telehealth convenience — medical review and check-ins from home, on your schedule.
- You want a low-friction start: just $39.00 to begin, with no medication charged today.
- You want nutrition, movement, coaching, and tapering and maintenance support woven into one plan.
- You care about strength and function support — a protein-first approach as your weight changes.
- You want long-term structure across BridgeWell Start, Taper, and Maintain rather than a one-time visit.
A clinician reviews your information and decides whether medication is appropriate. BridgeWell does not guarantee a prescription, and medication is only offered when a clinician determines it is suitable.
No medication charge today
Today you only pay the $39 Medical Consultation Fee. Your card is saved securely, but medication is not charged today. Your clinician reviews your information first, confirms whether treatment is appropriate, and your medication price is confirmed before any medication charge is made.
